New month, new specials.
This month, we've partnered with Woodshed Tea on a couple of new drinks. First is our new rose latte. We've made a syrup using roses, lavender, lemon myrtle, lemon balm, and a little white tea. Tons of sweet and tart flavors coming together for a nice balance.
Second, back by popular demand, we're featuring our Saint Patrick's Day's special, the Matcha Latte, for the month of May. Matcha is made by grinding up Japanese green tea and balancing it out with a little sugar. This is sourced and blended by the tea geniuses at Woodshed to be perfect in a matcha latte. We dissolve the matcha in a little water and top it off with a bit of steamed milk.
We also got a chance to try out a few coconut milks recently and were shocked at how well they featured, rather than hid, the coffees in a latte or cappuccino. Our favorite was a coconut milk from Pacific Foods made specifically with coffee in mind. Come try out a coconut milk latte and see just how tasty they are.
Oh, yeah, and as for that honey-lavender latte. We'll still have that on the menu for a week or two.
