How do we get from a green coffee seed to brown beans in a hopper or retail bag? Roasting! Join us Saturday, August 18 at 1pm for our second Seed to Cup class focusing on roasting. Thanks to our friends at KLLR Coffee, we'll try a coffee roasted a couple different ways and explore the chemical changes and processes of coffee roasting!

Want to commute on your bike, but feel unsafe, uncertain, or unconfident? Join Tom Peryam, certified Cycling Safety Instructor, on June 16 for an introduction to bike safety and the rules of the road. This class is tailored to the casual, urban cyclists and will cover basic bicycle safety, riding in mixed traffic, and the ins and outs of bike lanes. 1/2 classroom, 1/2 on the bike. You’ll try several types of berries along with some coffees. You'll also learn about the science behind how we perceive taste while taking a closer look at coffee processing and the benefits (and drawbacks) of Sun Dried coffees!

One night only! Join us for some evening coffee cocktails (aka mocktails)! Tanner and Tyler worked hard on this amazing menu of 5 new concoctions that we are so excited to share. All of these beverages will include coffee in some form but no alcohol, so this is an all ages event.

Come see how your water might be affecting the taste of your coffee! We’ll have coffee brewed using 4 different types of water and discussing why we like Third Wave Water. With a little help from Dashwood & Hendon’s "Water for Coffee" and Barista Hustle, we’ll taste the difference in brewing with hard & soft water and discuss the science of water in coffee.

Join us Saturday, March 24th at 1pm as we walk through the basics of making coffee at home. With a variety of methods and tools in the market, making great coffee at home can be easy and fun!
This is a hands-on class! Using the new Stagg XF Dripper, Chemex, and more, participants will be able to make a cup coffee as we discuss how variables like water temperature, time, and grind size affect the quality of your cup.

Join us for the 2018 Oklahoma City Caffeine Crawl!
Caffeine Crawl is like a pub crawl but with caffeine instead of beer. Presented by The Lab out of Kansas City, this is one of our favorite events every year. Routes will be a guided tour of coffee and tea shops in the area. The event takes place in both OKC and Tulsa on Friday and Saturday March 9 & 10. Pick your route and have a blast with friends. Part One will cover Farming and Processing. We'll dive into some plant biology to talk about how we get from the coffee plant to the green bean shipped to our roaster friends! We’ll taste the effects of different types of processing as well as some exciting research in the fields of varietals and origin!

Join us Saturday, January 20th at 1pm for a palate training as we talk about how acidity plays a role in coffee and explore some common citrus notes in coffee! We’ll taste and compare different citrus fruits and try them alongside a coffee or two!

Ever wondered how a cup of grocery store coffee fares next to a cup from your favorite shop? Curious about why we spend so much time talking about where the coffee comes from and who produced it? In this class we’ll discuss the evolution of coffee production and consumption and what makes specialty coffee so special.
There will be a demonstration and you will be able to taste at least 3 different coffees and discuss the differences in a group setting.
